It must be this awesome weather thats been inspiring me, I finally started a couple new projects and custom orders to keep me busy. Recently I took a pottery class with my mom.. sadly that is over now, but I am excited to show what we’ve been working on.. that is if they survive the kiln!

Spring is here and I thought it would be fun to bring some life into my house. I have been meaning to make a small terranium for my place forever…However, I couldn’t leave the store without these little guys. I might have a small obsession for cacti.. or maybe just things that are little..and cute.. Who knows. I thought it would be interesting to use these little glass globes to show the layering in the soil. I put a layer of sand on the bottom and added some water, then a layer of river rocks. I didn’t have cactus soil, so I used potting soil and mixed it with sand. Which apparently works the same? Guess we’ll find out.. I added more river rocks to the top to help keep the plants in place. Don’t they look happy?
